- SStephenBuckinghamshire •5 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoSurprised to find we were the only diners when we arrived on Christmas Eve for lunch, and only one other table occupied in the time we were there. The service was exemplary although there was no reason for it not to be with so few diners. Did wonder if senior kitchen staff had been given a day off as one hot starter was virtually cold and my parsnips were so undercooked I couldn’t even cut them with a knife and fork, although they were replaced some time later. It was a shame as the setting is lovely and it should have been a better experience.More infoMonkey Island Brasserie & BarPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Bray•4.6

- DDONNALondon •24 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoReally enjoyable trip to The Ivy Windsor. We were a group of three who visited for breakfast. I had the avocado and poached eggs and two pots of decaffeinated tea. Good service (although a little slow when we were ready to leave). Very good food. I love the decor and the ladies toilets were spotless and had really unusual wallpaper. Would definitely visit again.More infoThe Ivy Royal Windsor BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Windsor•4.5
- AalisonBuckinghamshire •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024It’s not always easy being a vegan and dining at a restaurant that doesn’t specialise but tonight I was blown away by the quality of the food which was so flavourful. There wasn’t a huge amount of choice for me but I had the Asian salad and the plant based curry and they were bursting with flavourful ingredients. It’s just an annoyance that there were so many vegetarian dishes that could have so easily be veganised. All five of us enjoyed our meals, the service was great - as always - and the cocktails were scrumptious. It is such a shame that the side of Brussels sprouts had butter on them meaning I couldn’t have them, and I absolutely love them so had to miss out for the sake of substituting cow butter with plant butter. But all in all it was a lovely night out and The Ivy put on so many speciality Christmas foods and drinks. If you’re a meat eater you will love this place as the food choices are vast.More infoThe Ivy Marlow GardenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Marlow•4.4
