Best Contemporary Canadian Restaurants in Exchange District

Met friends in lounge first for a cocktail. The "Winnipeg 75" gin based cocktail was very good. Seated promptly in dining room. Our waitress was friendly and helpful explaining the menu and making suggestions. Ordered the roasted carrots with were the highlight! SO good! We really enjoyed the seared scallop mushroom risotto and Linguine as our entrees. Would recommend both. Ended with the Brioche bread pudding dessert which would not have ordered if not suggested by our waitress, really enjoyed it.

A great time. Our server was amazing, he was so helpful and attentive. The food was so good we stayed and played games and had a great time. We will definitely come again and I recommend it to anyone to go.

The server was very nice, explained the various dishes. Was quick to refill my wine glass. The borscht was a little thin and the roll was still cold in the middle.. the shortribs were good but could have had a more robust flavour. I couldnt taste the Guiness which was apparently the sauce. Good overall and i would go back and try a different entree.

Delicious food and service was outstanding. Great place for a dinner out.
