- DDianaVIPHouston •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was my first experience at Emma Jane and will not be my last. The staff was knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We started with the seasonal Winter tea and had a chance to scent sample their entire line of teas thanks to Neal. In our party of 3, we shared the beef empanadas—the perfect combination of crispy and tender. Our 3 entrees were the Emma Jane burger, the Monte Cristo, and the Steak and Eggs. We ended with the Cream Earl Grey which was a perfect end to the meal. I think I found my go-to restaurant for 2025! Made reservations next week for the tea service experience. Can't wait!More infoEmma JanePrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• River Oaks•4.2

- GGeorgeHouston •4 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024We were a party of 5. We got a nice quiet table in the sun room. Service was attentive. Steaks and red snapper were well prepared and had good taste and texture. I could have done with more sauce vierge on the snapper. The sides were okay but not great. Asparagus (and Bearnaise sauce) lacked much flavor, the pomegranate molasses dressing on the brussels sprouts was a little powerful, the gnocchi came off as pan-fried mashed potatoes. The onion soup was a disappointment - rather sweet, not much flavor to the broth, mushy. Other members of our party were less critical than I was and quite enjoyed their meals. Except the eldest, who usually complains about all the food. :-) All in all, I feel like I should have sneaked in some seasoned salt to perk things up.More infoTonight & Tomorrow at La Colombe d’OrPrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.5
