- DDonnaNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI met today at Halcyon for brunch with a friend. The service was fairly attentive. It is a physically appealing venue with a very nice brunch menu. We both ordered the day's special omelette with smoked salmon. The dish was beautifully prepared, though the salmon was overly salty. The guavallini cocktail was delicious. The coffee was, unfortunately, not hot. Overall, it was a pleasant brunch experience and I would come back again.More infoHalcyon BrasseriePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Montclair•4.7
- AAlyssandraVIPPhoenix / Arizona •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPleasantly surprised! The food was delicious. My husband and I were shocked by the amount of food we got. Very generous portions. Price was reasonable. Everything was unique. We’d definitely come back again next time we’re in New York and I’d definitely recommend for a date night or outing with friendsMore infoButter MidtownPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Midtown West•4.6
- FFrancoiseVIPNew York City •47 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have dined here several times but this was really an outstanding experience. Everything was delicious, served professionally and the noise level was comfortable. I had the special arugula corn and avocado salad, followed by the duck breast with figs. I loved the large slices instead of the usual many thin slices. It was tender and juicy. The figs were marinated and out of this world. I shared the warm bread pudding with my husband. Delicious. The only negative was the espresso. Watery and tasteless. Our friends loved their meal as well. We enjoyed the whole thing so much we stayed 3 hours!More infoThe Milling RoomPrice: Expensive• French / American• Upper West Side•4.4
- DDominicNew York City •32 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWonderful. Went on a Thursday evening after the holidays. Ate early because we were seeing an 8 pm opera. Beautiful space. Delicious food. Excellent cocktails. Friendly staff. Great service. Not cheap. However, there were fresh flowers and real candles on the table, and a live person playing the piano. Highly recommend it.More infoOne if by Land, Two if by SeaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Greenwich Village•4.5
- RRobinNew York City •2 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024This is my second time dining here and the ambiance is amazing. It's a gorgeous space with beautiful lighting. It's spacious and you feel like you are dining with just your party. You don't feel like you are on top of anyone. WE got a few appetizers that were really good, portions are not large at all but enough for 4 people to share. Everything now is so overpriced so I can't really fault for the pricing but it is a place I would go for a special occasion.More infoVillage Hall TavernPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• South Orange•3.7
