Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Bala Cynwyd

This is our 3rd time dining at Exit 13. Perfection, as usual. Exit 13 has become our go to local restaurant. Authentic Italian gourmet selections that never disappoint. I’ve ordered something different every time. Branzino mouth watering and the sea bass melts in your mouth ! Can’t wait to try something new next visit

Service was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our starters (burrata and tartare) and main courses (trout special and salmon). Atmosphere was lively yet sophisticated with families, birthday parties, work get togethers, and couples. We had a fantastic dining experience, and will be back.

Some excellent dishes served to the four of us. The portions are generous and of quality. One appetizer, the fried calamari, was neither crisp nor hot, so we hope they can bring it out of the kitchen quicker. The four main courses including the fish special demonstrated an excellent chef. All of the deserts were Diner quality and need to be reimagined. Cold crème brûlée? We will be back and hope they take the few needed steps to become a designation restaurant.
