Always a fantastic meal but yesterday we felt very rushed and the waitstaff took our cocktail before we were finished and cleared our appetizer plates and forks before we were finished…very odd. It happened so fast we could barely see the who did it… She just reached across the table and grabbed things to clear & raced off without saying a word. We get that it’s a popular restaurant and always crowded so they need to turn tables, but pretty rude to do so without asking, especially when it wasn’t even our waiter… The fried artichokes were phenomenal as always, and the salmon and cauliflower are worth fighting the noise and crowd to experience!

Bread and pasta are all homemade, and they specialize in their veggies and meat on the grill. Excellent cocktails, exceptional wine list. Appropriately attentive and courteous staff. I requested a quieter table due to two in my party with hearing aids, and we were seated in a very quiet spot compared to the rest of the restaurant, which can hum with a great vitality if you aren't trying to accommodate hearing difficulties.

This was our first time to Piola, but definitely not our last. A renovated home, turned into a restaurant makes the atmosphere welcoming and comfortable, and the staff all continue make the ambience amazing. The food was exceptional. The caprese salad was very nice and the pesto that accompanied it was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. My wife had the smoked chicken fettuccini and I had the Chicken Involitini. I hadn’t planned on it but I was convinced to try it after our waiter described it, and it was a great choice. The wines were very good as well. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other entrees.
