Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Mt. Sinai

I made reservations a month ahead of our scheduled time to visit New York and had no issues so that. Once I wanted to call and confirm a few days prior to the reservation, no one answered the phone. I also called the day of the reservation and no answer. The ambiance was great! The seating felt tight, but luckily we were in a booth in the corner. We definitely had to shift the table around to get inside the booth. Once in the though, it was comfortable as there was enough table space. The service could have been better. The server sold the menu to us and forgot our cocktails and failed to keep water on rhthe table. He didn’t check on us really after we got our food. The food was good and the portions were definitely enough for 2-3 people easily. For reference, we shared in our party of 3 the calamari as an appetizer with the stuffed salmon, rigatoni, and surf & turf for our entrees. Great food but service was not up to par.

Had a great experience last night. The food was delicious. We had the eggplant appetizer special and it was delicious. Eggplant was crunchy and layered nicely. Had the Caesar salad, which was meant for two but was definitely enough for four. Had shrimp Luciano at my main dish and it was delicious. Service was good would definitely recommend. Only negative would be that it was very loud inside. 

Food was outstanding, Service impeccable . Looking forward to the leftovers!

We ate here for lunch and dinner, the pizza was excellent, regular and Sicilian were both very good. Dinner started with spicy vodka sauce rice balls and grilled octopus then went into linguini and clam sauce and a chicken and artichoke special all were excellent. Our server was on point from the moment we sat down . Definitely will be back when in the area

Delicious meal in very nice quiet atmosphere. Service was excellent.
