Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Pequannock

The food was excellent, just 2 minor things: 1-they don't serve alcohol here. I have since learned this has something to do with Montclair in general, though this restaurant does allow you to bring your own wine. I don't hold it against them, they have no control over it and now i know for next time. 2-They had a modified menu for Valentines weekend, so the regular menu wasn't available. Not the end of the world at all, and we got our food EXTREMELY quickly (and it was delicious), just another thing i wish i had known ahead of time.

The food, atmosphere, and service were all impeccable one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I love coming down from Westchester to have dinner with my girlfriend.

I honestly had an incredible time. Me and my boyfriend went for valentine’s day knowing we already wanted to try the famous pasta flight! The manager in charger was so nice and came to out table a few times to make sure everything was okay. It was such a nice environment. I cannot wait to go back and tell everyone how great my dinner was.

Cocktails before dinner, Manhattan and Old Fashion were great. Server was attentive, friendly and engaging. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Went early on a holiday evening and atmosphere was upbeat and over dinner grew to modestly noisy though it never impacted conversation at the table. Holiday Pre-fixe menu was a bit on the pricey side but good value for a special event. Look forward to going again.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! We have been going to LuNello for 20 years and it gets better and better. Chef Louis and his team continue to reinvent themselves. The food is sophisticated yet extremely approachable and downright unctuous. The service staff is professional, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. They really care about the guest having a great experience. ❤️
