Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in Sayulita

Excellent selection of cocktails, wines, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Highly recommend the baby corn skewer appetizer and fish of the day (red snapper) main course, but we also enjoyed the octopus appetizer and jumbo shrimp main course. The garlic sampler appetizer was worth trying. Overall a fine dining experience consistent with that of other Cafe de Artist meals we have enjoyed, with excellent service provided by our wait staff (Enrique and Jorge).

This restaurant is wonderful. One of thee most memorable dinning experiences I’ve had. My fiancé and I were seated in the best table of the restaurant, right in front of the lovers bridge with a perfect view of the city and a most gorgeous sunset falling on the ocean. Our server Raul was informative and extremely attentive, he made us feel special with his service. It was such a treat to be eating in Elizabeth Taylor’s former home, the home was beautiful! The food was delicious and the music was extremely romantic. We also had a pleasant surprise of a mariachi band playing at the restaurant (one of the best mariachi’s I’ve heard). We are looking forward to having this experience again in the future. Gracias Raul!

Perfect dining experience. Had reservations at 8:30- wish it had been earlier to enjoy the beautiful location. Lovely entrance. Beautiful restaurant. Food and Service OUTSTANDING! Lamb was a huge portion. Pasta perfectly prepared. Fish of the day was excellent. Finished our meal with churros which were delicious! Had some trouble with directions as maps showed a completely different location using directions from open table.

My favorite restaurant in the area. I have gone there 3 years in a row for my birthday dinner. Impeccably prepared food with a unique twist on the traditional using all local fresh organic ingredients. Highly recommend. Dessert wasn't my favorite but all the savories at 10+ IMHO! Mary
