Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in Westminster

We really enjoyed dinner here. They were running a little behind for our reservation so they gave us yummy shots and 2 free delicious appetizers! The service was GREAT, food was AMAZING! We will be back for sure!

Once again, our experience was amazing sitting at the Chef's Counter. The chef's know their stuff in this kitchen, and it's a learning experience too when the chef's describe the ingredients and process for each dish. These chefs are passionate about their food and the ingredients used. The cocktails are very creative and perfect. We will be back again and again.

Absolutely loved our experience at Mezcaleria! The food and the service were incredible. We were sat at the bar and loved the experience watching the chefs prepare our food and getting suggestions for what to order. We tried the tostada with sashimi tuna, oxtail taco, tuna pescadilla, and the beef cheek with mole. We could have eaten 6 of the oxtail tacos each, they were so tender and flavorful. The only thing we would skip next time is the tuna pescadilla, as it was truly like a Mexican tuna melt and a bit fishy. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the Negroni - the flavor was a bit watered down for my liking. Overall had a great experience and look forward to returning!

Alma Fonda Fina is an absolute standout in Denver! From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, blending modern elegance with the soul of traditional Mexican cuisine. The menu is a love letter to authentic flavors, elevated with a fresh, innovative twist. Every dish we tried was beautifully plated and packed with flavor—think handmade tortillas, rich and complex moles, and perfectly balanced ceviches. The drinks? Just as impressive. Their cocktails are expertly crafted, offering the perfect sip to complement the meal. Get the avocado Marg!! Service was top-notch, with a team that’s not only knowledgeable but passionate about the food they serve.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel extremely welcome and invited us back to their reopening after remodel. If you have a chance to grab their brunch before they close for remodel, do so! Manny was a tremendous server. Seek him out if you can.
