Best Continental Restaurants in Garden City

My girlfriend suggested this local restaurant which she had not been to in years. We decided to have dinner at the Rialto restaurant in Carle Place. I am glad we did. The server, John, was very friendly and always had a smile on his face. The food was delicious. We split a salad as we usually do. I rarely finish eating all of my salad, but this one I did. It was fresh, nicely presented, and was quite tasty. I had the sole for my entre and it was prepared and was truly excellent. My girlfiend had the salmon and she loved it. The accompanying vegetables were very fresh. We skipped desert but ordered coffee which was excellent. The prices on the menu were fairly priced and in accordance with the quality of the food served. Don't miss enjoying this local restaurant.

The Davenport has the most spectacular menu. All the food is fantastic. The servers are great with one exception with bartender was very curt she was rude

Our meals were delicious! It was our second time in two weeks for dinner. I had the grilled skirt steak both times and it was so good! The steak was cooked perfectly and it had just the right spices. My mother loved her salmon. We ordered a take out meal for my daughter. She had the steak frites and loved it. I am Argentinian and the chimichurri that comes with the steak frites was the best I have ever tasted!! The only thing not great was the waitress disappeared. She never came back to ask if we were enjoying our food or if we needed another drink. However, all the helpers, busers and other servers were very attentive and helped us out when we needed something. Overall, a nice experience and meal. My mom wants to go back more often to try other entrees on the menu!

Always a pleasure. We got married there 12 years ago and have been back (almost) every year for our anniversary. Such a great place!
