Best Continental Restaurants in Nesconset

We have been to Painters many times and will continue to come back. The staff are always genuinely nice and, in our experience, very hard working (today our server was Amanda). We appreciate the wide variety of food options and we always enjoy our meal (today was the Mediterranean omelette). A friend who we treated to lunch thought her hamburger was the best she ever had; my personal favorite is the Orange Pecan French Toast. It is perfect for any occasion and it is not unusual for someone to be celebrating a baby shower or birthday in the back area. The atmosphere is always comfortable and casual, and the large parking lot is a nice bonus.

We had a 6:30 reservation and from the time we sat down to the time we left it was a great experience! We started with the calamari appetizer which was fried perfectly and the addition of cherry pepper “chips” (sliced cherry peppers lightly dredged in the calamari coating, and then fried) was a nice pop of heat. It added another layer of flavor that was unexpected, but very welcome. My wife got the Steak Frittes. The steak was cooked perfectly and fries had great flavor. I got the whole branzino and was not disappointed! The fish was cooked perfectly and the taste was phenomenal! We will definitely be returning!

Trumpets on the Bay is a wonderful dining establishment, with an amazing location and decor. The food and drinks are always prepared with care, tastes delicious and presented by experienced and professional servers (Walter was wonderful). We highly recommend this restaurant. I hosted a party of 11 for my wife's birthday. Food was absolutely amazing with no equal. 11 people 1100$ with 250$ in tip . And I can say this anything for my wife. And the food was worth every penny. Great job tellers see you very soon.

The Strawberry fields salad is a Family favorite. Add chicken, shrimp or fish and it’s a full meal. Love the big soft “everything” pretzel. Always a nice list of creative drink ideas and a full bar for anything else you think of. A High quality dishes, no matter what you order. highly recommend!
