Best Cajun Restaurants in Burtonsville

Had no idea It was only their second day being open, so It was rsvp only. When we arrived, very little guest were seated but literally all the other tables were dirty from previous guest. So we waited about 15min for them to clear a table. Once seated and our waiter Dialo came to greet us, he was excellent and food came out very quick. Later we learned they had a bunch of callouts and were short staffed. The few staff that were there did their best and we were impressed. Only suggestion it’s too quiet and they need to play some type of music. And stay on top of their bathrooms, for It to have been the second day, the bathroom looked like it’s been round forever. But i would recommend and give them another chance! Food was very good!

Had a date night dinner last night and it was so good was had to return for breakfast. The French toast was amazing. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Jean-Paul was a wonderful server! Even got my boyfriend a birthday dessert & candle for him.

First time here with a few coworkers from out of town and the food was AMAZING!!! Service was a little slow as it appeared there was only 1 waiter and he was taking orders and making drinks for the entire restaurant but it allowed us to have great conversation. Ambiance, music, food, decor, everything was very good. Our waiter was great as well, he just needed some help. Would definitely go back.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC Dining Experience!! We came to celebrate my mother's 87th birthday. They had a lovely sign waiting at our table when we arrived that said, " Happy Birthday from Miss Toya's" . The service is impeccable!! Our waiter, Chris, was EXTRAORDINARY! He's professional, kind, attentive and has the BEST sincerest personality. The manager even did his rounds going from table to table to assess our dining experience. He was also quite comical as well. The ambiance was great with really good music playing. The decor is lovely. Now, let's get to the food. . . AMAZING!!! Everything that we ordered was DELISH and we are CREOLE straight from Louisiana so, we really know good Creole cooking and they did not skip a beat. The stuffed shrimp with the succotash were divine, the wings were great and the fried catfish was impeccably cooked. We wanted to order more but wanted to save room for dessert. Unfortunately, because it's a Monday, their dessert menu was limited due to weekend brunch probably selling up everything but we decided to try the Peach Cobbler with Ice Cream and it did NOT disappoint. Let me just say that I live in Chicago and it's been extremely hard to find REALLY good food here in the DMV. Miss Toya's is gonna get my business each and EVERY time that I return to the DMV to visit. Thanks Miss Toya's for a WONDERFUL dining experience!!
