- NNikVIPHouston •12 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Champagne experience was very enjoyable. The food was delicious and in very generous portions. The Champagne tastings were small portions and not so generous but still very interesting. The pairings of the Champagne to the food was very good and each mouthful of food bought out more sparkle in each sip of Champagne. Service could have been better. We were missed out and had to chase for bread, and for two entrees, aswell as the first serving of Champagne, it may have been the location of the table, although disappointing, it did not distract from a wonderful evening by Christophe Paul and his team.More infoCafe RabelaisPrice: Expensive• French• Rice Village•4.7

It was beyond anything I could have imagined! Each cocktail and chocolate pairing somehow managed to outdo the one before it, setting a new standard for excellence with every bite and sip. The flavors were thoughtfully curated, surprising, and indulgent in the best way. And our host? Michael, truly second to none—warm, knowledgeable, and made the evening feel intimate and exceptional. It’s rare to find a place where every detail is so impeccably executed. This was hands-down one of the best date night experiences we’ve ever had in Houston. My fiancé is still raving about it, and we’re already planning when we can come back. If you’re looking for something unique, black, upscale, and unforgettable, this is it.More infoCASE ChocolatesPrice: Very Expensive• Dessert• Southeast Houston•4.9

So, was the Mac and cheese and the blackberry cobbler a la mode. We highly recommend this restaurant.More infoLynn's Table - Formerly Ellen's CafePrice: Moderate• American• Spring•4.5
