Originally built in 1518, the building was the very first Guildhall in Windsor which was the meeting place for the Trinity Guild (the town traders) which since the 13th Century has provided the governing body for the town until it was turned into an inn & public house in 1689. There has been a pub on this site for almost 500 years and is one of the oldest establishments in the town, only a few of which are still standing.Located on Market Street, The Prince Harry is only 50 metres from Windsor Castle. We are proud of our part in Windsor history and continue to provide a traditional pub environment amongst the cobbles of the old town next to the historic Guildhall.Our menu includes traditional British favourites and all food is freshly cooked on-site, served from 12pm, to 5pm.We serve a fine Sunday roast until 6pm and we advise booking a table so that you can enjoy our traditional hospitality. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

    Today was my mate John's birthday. I had arranged a birthday lunch for my mate John at The White Oak at Cookham. It's part of the Brucan Group. Me and my partner had eaten at their Finchampstead pub The Greyhound on several occasions so I guess I knew roughly what to expect. We started by sharing 6 oysters. Delicious. John had the grilled mackerel on squid Bolognese with samphire. Spot on. I had the steak tartare. Delightful. We both went for the braised beef shoulder on mustard mash. Cabbage seriously good. Absolutely delicious. They kindly presented John with a happy birthday plate of chocolate brownie or sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Made John smile. Thank you The White Oak for a perfect birthday lunch. Very highly recommended. Cheers...

    All good! Lovely service and very kind staff! The food was great. Did not wait too long. It is pricey, but I guess it's just London. With a couple of pounds less on each meal it would be perfect! I recommend the puddings. Wow.

    This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.
