We hadn't booked as didn't know what time we would arrive at hotel but they found us a table within 30 mins which was excellent. The kids menu is more than adequate even for a hungry 10 & 12 year old. Also good value for money too. The Al a Carte menu varied both with choice and price. The fish & chips was a good portion and beautifully cooked, likewise the big blue burger, meaty and juicy. Desserts of banana split and sticky toffee pudding rounded off a perfect family meal. Service was good especially as restaurant was busy but we never felt rushed at all. The advantage of eating here is also that after a day at the pleasure beach it offers great food on site, so you don't have to trail around with hungry youngsters trying to find a suitable place to eat that isn't just fast food.

Good quality food and a great menu for various dishes. Service was very good and reasonable prices. I would definitely come again.

We were here for our friends wedding but it was also our first anniversary so we booked at table at the smithy before the party and just wanted to say thank you so much for the extra touches to help make our anniversary extra special.

A fabulous meal to celebrate Valentine’s Day.. I cannot fault anything from start to finish. This place is an absolute Gem and the owners have got to be the most welcoming people I have ever met. The food was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. An overall outstanding meal from the atmosphere, staff, service and food. The pub itself is in the most beautiful setting and inside decor is stunning. The best by far we highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were given a private room in which to dine. Our daughter has autism and a fear of laughing and noise. The room was beautiful and the food and service superb.
