Good food, good atmosphere- even though it was busy, the service remained at a high standard.

We hadn't booked as didn't know what time we would arrive at hotel but they found us a table within 30 mins which was excellent. The kids menu is more than adequate even for a hungry 10 & 12 year old. Also good value for money too. The Al a Carte menu varied both with choice and price. The fish & chips was a good portion and beautifully cooked, likewise the big blue burger, meaty and juicy. Desserts of banana split and sticky toffee pudding rounded off a perfect family meal. Service was good especially as restaurant was busy but we never felt rushed at all. The advantage of eating here is also that after a day at the pleasure beach it offers great food on site, so you don't have to trail around with hungry youngsters trying to find a suitable place to eat that isn't just fast food.

We visited the Pepper Mill for our anniversary last evening. There is nothing to fault. Staff are attentive. The atmosphere is delightfully adulty. We went at 5pm and the place was filled as we left but we wouldn’t have known. All very refined! The food is so good! Just the right amounts and cooked beautifully. Price wise yes it’s on the top side but we aren’t talking your standard faire. Quality over quantity for us. Thank you Pepper Mill!

Good quality food and a great menu for various dishes. Service was very good and reasonable prices. I would definitely come again.

We were here for our friends wedding but it was also our first anniversary so we booked at table at the smithy before the party and just wanted to say thank you so much for the extra touches to help make our anniversary extra special.
