Best European Restaurants in Chestnut Hill

Had chefs tasting menu at chefs counter. The food was creative, all courses interesting and delicious. The chef was great with his disquisitions on the dishes. Overall a superior dining experience; yet without pretense.

We went for my wife’s Birthday. Ivonne was the hostess and from beginning to end, she made this a very special experience. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. The ambiance and atmosphere inside is gorgeous. 5 stars all around. Ivonne even provided a chocolate lava cake as a special birthday dessert, and she covered this additional cost. Extremely generous and thoughtful. Thank you Aquitaine. We will be back.

Lovely setting, perfect snowy night vibe. Comfortable dining and enjoying the company of others. From Franklin, as the Maitre d' to Maria our waitress, we were greeted and served with such warmth and professionalism. The menu is splendid and diverse. The food cooked to perfection. Might hang out at the bar sometime. Cozy and welcoming!

Another great evening in our favorite restaurant - sausages were excellent as was the risotto and burger!! Wonderful deserts! Great service and atmosphere as usual! Love it

I enjoyed my meal overall. Considering we were there at 4:30 and we were only allowed 90 minutes to eat seemed a little bit odd considering we were the only ones there Service was friendly, but we felt a little rushed with the appetizers. They came at once we ordered the tuna tartare, which was excellent, foie gras good but too much on the sauce, and the beet salad, which was delicious. The lobster was flavorful, but it looked like they used a southern type But not entirely sure. I ordered the lamb chops and I requested to be medium rare and it came out as well done. Although I appreciate the correction and I had the most amazing lamb chops, it was an entirely different lamb chops than the one that was initially served. Here’s what I don’t understand if we’re the only ones there and we order a $45 dish. I expect that to be perfect. We got this cute valentine raspberry mousse, which was very delightful.
