Best European Restaurants in Des Peres

We went for a late lunch on a cold holiday Monday. Even though we made reservations on short notice, the hostess was able to get one of our favorite tables freed up for us, which was a very nice start! Our server was busy checking out a large party, but he made sure that we were taken well care of while he was finishing up. Hummus and Pita was a nice way to start as we were both hungry and it comes out pretty quickly. My wife really enjoyed the pasta special with beef tenderloin and cheese ravioli. I had the Bill's Chicken salad with the Crispy Coconut Chicken and it was very good and we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with our meal. Overall a very nice, relaxing afternoon.

Yet another great dining experience at Spiro’s! Our table was ready right when our reservation was scheduled, the service (especially our waitress Sabrina) was fantastic and the food & drinks were delicious. Additionally, as my party was there celebrating two birthdays, we got to choose two complimentary desserts at the end of the meal. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening- Spiro’s delivered as it always does!

Perennial is perennially AWESOME!!!!! I have lived in Webster Groves for 25 years and among all of Webster's diverse and excellent restaurants, Perennial is my favorite!!!! It fits me and my palate like a glove!!!

We booked Valentines date dinner with another couple. Dinner was excellent. Everyone selected one of the 3 specials and no one was disappointed. I'm sorry I didn't get the young lady who waited on us name as she was awesome. Not a cheap meal but as they say you get what you pay for and the meals were size correct and outstanding. Highly recommend Spiro's in St Charles.

The Crossing continues to be an excellent choice for fine dining in St. Louis. The food and service are excellent. The night we were there it was somewhat noisier than past visits due to several large tables of men some of whom spoke and laughed loudly throughout the evening. When they left it was pleasant. I think the British are right when they say Americans do not know how to speak quietly at the dinner table.
