We ended the meal with a Mansion House 1757 cake slice and the chocolate mousse. Chef’s skills in putting together sides, cooking the Wellington’s to a perfect temp, selecting varied cheeses for the tray, and executing the delicious deserts were not unnoticed. He’s up there. We were fortunate enough to speak with him as he took the time to visit each table (this to me displayed confidence in his staff-who also should be commended).
