- JJacquelineCharlotte •4 reviews5.0Dined todayServer was very personable and checked on us at regular intervals. The other staff were nice as well. (We had brunch which was a buffet). I don’t typically care for buffets, but the lines were short or non-existant. It was a plentiful buffet with a nice variety (I don’t eat meat) and some of the vegetables were seasoned with meat, but that was fine for my companions. Fresh made waffles and omelettes were delicious, as was all the food, but I love waffles. My husband enjoyed the prime rib center cut. Choice of beverages but I opted for the standard Mimosa. One over zealous sports enthusiast was too noisy but otherwise nice ambiance complemented by a lovely sounding musical duo. All in all it was an excellent afternoon. The brunch crowd was a laid back, friendly group. Note: The restaurant fees that you see in DC are showing up in the burbs now so be prepared for about $30 of those. If you have cash you can negate some of that.More infoThe Blackwall Barn and Lodge gambrillsPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Gambrills•4.6

- ZZumivipWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything about this restaurant was delicious and thoughtfully made. Even though Chef Edward Lee was not there in person, the Chef that was cooking did an amazing job because the food was very flavorful. This restaurant has exceeded my expectations and I am glad I did not give up on making the reservations.More infoSHIA RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Korean• Washington•4.7

- JJudelinevipBaltimore / Maryland •8 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMy best friend and I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere was cozy, and everything we tried was fantastic, but the highlight of our visit was definitely the beer bread—it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it paired wonderfully with our meal. To top it off, our waitress was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We'll definitely be coming back!More infoTrue ChesapeakePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Hampden•4.6
