I invited two guests to join me at 1803 after reading some very good reviews of the restaurant, so I made a reservation for dinner. Upon arrival, the hostess took us right to our table, which was in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. The bar area and decor of the place are really unique and so fun. After being seated, a server took our drink order right away; the mocktail menu is excellent. I highly recommend the spicy watermelon beverage. We were able to order appetizers, which were really delicious. The brussels sprouts and spinach/artichoke dip came out in a timely fashion and definitely set the tone. We waited for our main course for about 45 minutes while watching three other tables around us receive their appetizers, main courses, and second round of beverages. We did not see our server again for quite some time. When the food did arrive, it was cold. The duck was over-temperature/rubbery, the jumbalaya was mushy and very bland, and the fried chicken had definitely been left out. It seems we were forgotten about... and our food was either left out for too long or was not fired at the right time. The only hot food was the macaroni and cheese side dish, but it was tasteless and soupy. Thank goodness we ordered the scallops, which were - by far - the best bite of the night. The entree course was disappointing, to say the least, but the rest of the experience was great. I'd definitely send friends there to try the drinks and appetizers along with the ambience. The service needs to be improved in terms of communication between servers/kitchen, and entree dishes need to be attended to overall.

Just went in for brunch. Everything was great for the most part. The potatoes are the only thing that tasted a little off. But it was fine.
