Best French Restaurants in Arvada

Terrible way to place people with tables. Respect that it was Valentine’s Day but the restaurant had tables all over the beautiful place but placed us right next to each other in the back making it uncomfortable. Food was great. Service was amazing. But just didn’t know why they wanted to place three tables together with an empty place. Whatever.

This place is always great. We love traditional French food and they don’t disappoint.

An absolutely amazing pre-fix menu. All the dishes were so tasty and cooked perfectly per usual. Service, as always, was top notch.

Le Bilboquet is a regular favorite for us. The new renovations have made it a bit cozier and the new private rooms I think a good idea. The food is always very good and dependable. We had the cajun chicken which was excellent. I also had the Dover sole, a special on Thursday's and it was perfectly seasoned and delicious. We also got the normal crab and avocado salad which again was very nice. Very good food, very nice ambiance and service. I highly recommend.

Overall, everything was excellent for our first visit to Le Colonial. We were seated in the bar which was pumping techno/dance music (for lack of a better description) and while I understand the impetus to keep the bar energy moving, it wasn’t the most relaxing dining experience. If that’s your scene that’s cool - you’ll enjoy it. We’ll be back and next time request the dining room.
