- AAudreySan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLoved it! Service was very attentive and they had wonderful suggestions from their menu. The steak tartare was delicious served on homemade potato chips. The deviled eggs were a wonderful surprise served upside down with a sauce and caviar on top. The Caesar salad was amazing…I shared this but won’t next time I return…it was delicious with the crunchy topping. We shared the roast chicken, which was so tender and had the most delicious pan gravy. And don’t leave without trying the Soft Serve dessert. It checks all the boxes…caramel, toasted hazelnuts, poached pears and ice cream.More infoBon DelirePrice: Expensive• French• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7

Our server asked right away if we were going to a performance and made sure we got there on time, without any sense of rushing. - JJimVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband and I are Florio regulars for several reasons: * The service — including Jamie the bartender, Josh and Peter the servers, and David the host — are always on their ‘A’ game. We feel well taken care of when we dine here. My husband has trouble walking due to Parkinson’s, and the staff here is always ready to help us get to our table. * The food — never had a mediocre or bad dish here. The parpadelle, lasagna (not currently on the menu), hanger steak, roasted crispy chicken and cacio e Pepe are particular favorites. The desserts are excellent as well, including the olive oil cake and caramel gelato. * The drinks — though I’m not a regular martini drinker, I love the Florio martini. It’s delicious. Florio offers a well-curated wine list, too. * The ambience — sophisticated and casual. Lighting is at just the right level. Not too low so you can’t read the menu, not too bright where you feel like you’re at a chain restaurant. For total transparency, we have no business or family ties to Florio. We’re not friends with anyone who works here or anyone who owns or manages the restaurant. In other words: We have nothing to gain from posting a glowing review. I just like to recognize good people doing a great job.More infoFlorioPrice: Moderate• French• Pacific Heights•4.8
- JJulienVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoExcellent all around! We had the boeuf bourguignon, steak frites, blanquette de veau. All delicious. We also enjoyed the desserts, we’d recommend the crème brûlée and chocolate fondant. Great atmosphere inside and great staff.More infoChouquet'sPrice: Moderate• French• Pacific Heights•4.8

I had a very grand, two hour, French, Christmas lunch with a girlfriend and we were treated like the princesses we are not. The food was just delicious. The service was a little slow but the place was crowded due to the season, I suppose, and the pace suited our disgraceful over ordering. Not cheap but the price was about what one would expect for the authenticity and quality of the food. Highly recommended. I'd love to know how they manage to serve the wine at just the right temperature.More infoCote OuestPrice: Moderate• French• Marina / Cow Hollow / Presidio•4.9
