Best French Restaurants in U Village / U District

We had an exceptional meal and experience at Place Pigalle. A cozy atmosphere and good views of the waterfront if you’re seated by the window or out on the terrace is an extra reward. All the dishes were on step and for me being from Alaska I had to try their daily special wild King Salmon which was done perfectly as all of all our other dishes. The staff were very friendly and attentive to us. We would definitely dine there again when visiting Seattle’s Pike Place Market.

Everything on the menu was delicious, and trust me we tried almost everything. Their selection of non-alcoholic beverage options was fantastic for us non-drinkers. And the staff was so kind as to stay late and not rush us even though our dinner ran long.

We had a very enjoyable experience during our dinner visit. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was clearly described, beautifully plated, and seasoned well. The place was clean and the ambience was nice.

Our Happy Hour orders were perfection. Sardines, salads, clams. Our dinner orders were superb. My wife’s fish was perfectly cooked. Moist & tender meat & crispy skin. My chicken was cooked very well. Soft & tender meat. Only complaint was our bread was cold & it took awhile for our main course to arrive. But other than that hiccup, everything was great. Our servers were attentive to our table. Would mind going back at all or trying the other Sea Creature restos

Great food and service. We ordered three of the small plates, one large, and two desserts to share among three of us. All were excellent.
