- OTOpenTable DinerNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoDinner was great at The Berkeley! The staff/service and the food and drinks were amazing. I had a strawberry mocktail, with lime and a splash of club soda (best I ever had), onion soup with Gruyère cheese, and roast chicken on garlic toast with watercress and chicken jus, and ended the dinner a wonderful dessert, mixed berries clafoutis.More infoThe BerkeleyPrice: Moderate• French / American• Back Bay•4.4

The general atmosphere was quiet, as many people were really enjoying their food (lots of food pictures :) going on, and discussions on the food). It is a small place in Beacon Hill, a hidden gem.More infoMa MaisonPrice: Moderate• French• Beacon Hill•4.9

Service was friendly and courteous. We went for the special tasting menu with wine pairings. There were two choices for each course so we had one of each and everything was excellent. This is one of few places I’ve been that I would be comfortable putting myself in the chef’s hands.More infoBistro 5Price: Expensive• Italian• Medford•4.8

The onion tart was delicious and interesting. The rack of lamb was perfect, served on the rare side of medium-rare, the mashed potatoes were yummy and so beautifully complimented by the sauce. After sharing one of the carrots with my husband, my generosity ended. Thank you for a lovely meal.More infoBatifolPrice: Expensive• French• Cambridge•4.5

There were a few menu items that we needed to clarify before ordering as we were unfamiliar with items...but all part of the fun. The food was outstanding, I tried the lobster with squid ink gnocchi ...exceptional! The restaurant is kind of cozy...small floor plan with a communal center table. It all works, but if you have a larger group..book ahead to get one of the separate side tables.More infoPammy'sPrice: Very Expensive• American• Cambridge•4.8
