    We have visited Kendals a number of times and not only was it fabulous on this occasion, it has been consistently brilliant for years. The food is great , not overly manipulated , authentic french cuisine . The service is exceptional. Even when it's extremely busy everything is timely , perfectly served and of a great quality. Would heartily reccomend Kendal's to anyone.

    Fantastic experience for a 21st birthday lunch with 5 diners .. ate off the set menu … enough choice and all food great quality. Starters fantastic as well as the chicken / steak main course … Steak cooked to a perfect medium … Fantastic service and complimentary Prosecco for the birthday boy was amazing … Woukd eat here again ..     Great, prompt (but not intrusive) service. Interesting menu and wine/cocktail selection. The humble pork chop I chose was outstanding. I also appreciate tables aren't closely squashed together, making the ambience relaxed and noise-levels not excessive, even on a Saturday night (when we dined)
