- CClaireLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFamily meal for 4 to celebrate Mum’s 92nd birthday. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they coped with one of our party arriving late due to Friday night traffic or my elderly Mum asking for her veg to be cooked extra soft on a very busy night. The only small criticism would be that the position of our table made it feel quite cramped, and with full tables very close it was quite noisy so Mum had difficulty hearing our conversation. The food was very tasty and plentiful. To top the evening off the staff even found time to create a Happy Birthday sweet platter complete with candle for Mum at the end of the meal. - GGaryLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA recommendation from the Michelin Guide App. A quiet lunch date with my wife, we had the set menu which was a selection from the main menu, The tempura prawns, haddock and Crumble were fantastic, Truffle triple cooked chips were not overpowering as is the case with many truffle options elsewhere. The whipped Stilton and sourdough was devine followed by the gammon, topped with the perfect egg. All of the staff we encountered were welcoming, caring which was a breath of fresh air , as nothing was too much trouble. A great first visit.More infoThe Fox at WillianPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Letchworth•4.4
- RrosiemumBedfordshire •18 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 7, 2024We did not want a heavy meal and we enjoyed our choices very much. The'dessert/cheese + coffee smidgeon' is a very good offering. Thank you also for ringing me about the jacket I'd left - I hadn't noticed the lapse - and was happy to pick it up, I think it was Mandy who retrieved it so thanks to her too. See you soon.More infoThe EmbankmentPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Bedford•4.2
