The whole experience was excellent, place was warm and inviting (2°c outside). We had the Sunday roasts, meat cooked to perfection, accompanied by loads of fresh veg and plenty of gravy available. Good range of al la carte dish available and a host of tempting puddings too. We'll be back

This is my favourite place to eat. It was a cold Saturday afternoon and not only was the central heating on but the log fire burned steadily. It was a delight. The food and service were, as always, excellent. We all had the monkfish curry which was delicious.

I booked this for my daughter and her boyfriend for Valentine’s Day , although I didn’t go they said it was a very lovely place the meal was delicious and great service. I did call before due to my daughter being a fussy eater, they talked me through everything even the reduced menu , honestly you don’t get this from many places , the woman I spoke to for half an hour was lovely and she made the experience the best . Maybe next time I will go myself they seem to really look after there customers.

It's been a long time since we've been, but the old building hasn't lost any of it's character. The interiors are restored & kept to a very high standard. The Service was attentive without being over-bearing & we had a warm welcome. The Food was lovely, the Starters especially so - of which two of us shared four! And the main course were also lovely, all complimented by a decent cask ale to go with it. Thanks to the Barton Arms & keep up the good work..
