Food and drinks were good and service was great. We took our 5 year old (picky-eater) and there weren’t very many kid-friendly options on the menu but we tricked him into eating the fried cod (for chicken nuggets) with fries and he did just fine. It was a cold and rainy day and the restaurant was a little on the colder side.

A wonderful evening, after arriving early our table was ready so we sat down and had some drinks whilst we waited for our other guest to arrive. Food was good, service was good and a lovely ambiance in the place, on a night where London was so busy.

Seven of us visited The Barley Mow for my husband’s 40th birthday and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The service was fantastic, food was beyond delicious, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was just perfect. We will definitely be back and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Barley Mow to anyone. Was a great meal, and the service was truly exceptional. Loved everything. However I found 80£ for a white truffle and pasta dish too high given how little the chef shaved on. I would go again for sure.

We had a dinner booked for 7.30pm they were running late with service but I have to say we hardly noticed the pub had an amazing atmosphere the staff are very attentive and apologetic, they took a drinks round off the bill for the long wait. The food was amazing I had the monk fish tail and my husband had the pork loin absolutely delicious. You must try the beef fat popcorn omg it’s very tasty they should sell bags of this loved it. We will definitely e back can’t wait to sample the Sunday dinner.
