Best Gastro Pubs in Upper Greenville

Always the best food in town. The beef cheeks were amazing. The beet and burrata salad was fantastic. Will keep coming back.

We’ve been to this thirsty lion multiple times and I feel it’s better than some of the other ones we visited in the DFW area. The only downside is it’s pretty loud, even when I’ve gone on a weekday, but we just expect it now. The service is great, and the food is amazing. Tasty and very fresh and always hot. I definitely recommend making a reservation because instead of having to wait an hour, our table was ready when we arrived at 7 o’clock on a Saturday night. 

Great food and drink in a chill environment. Good space for a large group.

Multifaceted menu that has something for everyone. That is a hard task, but Thirsty Lion offers interesting appetizers, a wide array of salads and good signature dishes from burgers to high end chef selections. Our group of four came away happy and our "must revisit" list.
