We are regulars here. This is first time I booked through the app as I thought it might be busy. It was! The staff were new, so didn't really recognise us as regulars, but still treated us politely and served us promptly. Food is really good, great value for money and lots of choices.

Second time lunching here in a month. Smashing menu, Christmas decor, friendly and attentive staff made lunch today an enjoyable occasion. The prawn cocktail was delicious. A return visit is planned.

After a gruelling 7.5 kn mud filled walk with my walking members we arrived back at The Hatch. As we entered we were met with a warmth of the interior of the pub resplendent in Xmas decorations. There were seven of us in our group and we all enjoyed our main course some had deserts as well. We were looked after admirable by the Hatch staff and the food was of a very high standard. We all felt now relaxed after our morning ordeal.

Like the Fox & Grapes: good choices on menu and drinks. Venue good. Bit pricey. Not full today but quite noisy with those there.
