Best Greek Restaurants in Des Plaines

Great food and fantastic service by Enrice. Could not have been more pleased with our experience at Avli!

I thought this place would have easily gotten 5 stars but for some reason it didn't meet my expectations. Booking was easy, parking was available, they had many people working there and everyone was nice. Food was coming out fast at first but then when they got busy it was taking very long. The only two reasons why it wasn't a 5 star was because the chicken was really dry, I wasn't expecting that. And the salmon tasted horrible which was not their mistake but whoever they source it from gave them really bad quality salmon. I usually would say something but couldn't this time since we were celebrating. The portions seemed small for the price and mostly carbs. I would probably have liked to see more protein dishes like octopus for example. The only dish that was really good was the shrimp.

We had such a nice dinner at Meze. With very hard to please guests, we were all so impressed with the service and the food. Our server, Helani, was absolutely amazing. We were ready to adopt her into our family by the time we left! The food was so good. Very flavorful and perfectly executed. Kudos to the Meze team! We will definitely return! I think Meze will be our new go-to restaurant for family dinners.

This is my second time going to Andros. Food, especially the lamb, is super tasty. Good atmosphere.

It was such a great experience!! The food was awesome, the place was beautiful, our waiter John was also top notch! John made sure we were satisfied the whole time we were there. Definitely will be going back!!
