- FFrankNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had the Theo’s chips and stuffed squash flowers for appetizers. I would highly recommend both. My wife had the Bronzino and I had the filet mignon souvlaki. They were both excellent. I tried their great beer Mythos which was crisp and refreshing. My wife had the spicy margarita and she enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert, but they looked fantastic. This place was recommended to us by my cousin, and I can’t wait to think of when I see her.More infoTheos EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Greek• Victoria Park•4.8
- JJolitaVIPChicago / Illinois •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI live in Chicago but come down to the Boca area frequently over the winter months and am unfamiliar with good ethnic dining in the area. It was our first visit to Rafina's Greek Taverna, and we had an excellent experience. Though the OpenTable site showed reservations available only at 7:45 or later, we thought to arrive by 7 to see if there would be walk-in bar seating available. Instead, the hostess was happy to seat us in the lovely enclosed outdoor patio, overlooking a pond. Then menu of Greek specialties was extensive, and my partner chose an entree that was served at the next table that the diner said was delicious, the chicken kebob with a side of tzatziki. The cubes of chicken were enormous and moist, with tomato/green pepper/onion in between. I had the Rafina chopped salad that included shredded, well seasoned chicken, with a side of gigantes. A very generous serving of the salad with my favorite ingredients that was enough to bring home half to enjoy the following night. The gigantes were simmered in a delicious tomato sauce, served steaming hot. Very pleasant, attentive server. Our only (minor) criticism was that the greek salad that my partner added as a side to his entree was served immediately which was fine as he likes to eat his salad first. But no sooner than the salad was served that another server brought our entrees. It felt rushed, and by the time my partner ate the salad, his chicken kebob was room temperature. Knowing this, next time - and we will be back - we will ask for more time between salad and entree, as we prefer a leisurely dinner.More infoRafina Greek TavernaPrice: Moderate• Greek• Boca Raton•4.4

- JJonathanWest Palm Beach •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoDoya – A Must-Try for Greek & Turkish-Inspired Meze Recently dined at Doya, a fantastic spot that blends Greek and Turkish flavors with a menu designed for sharing. The restaurant specializes in both cold and hot meze, making it perfect for a communal dining experience. For cold meze, I highly recommend the traditional fava bean spread, eggplant (babaganoush), green goddess dip (similar to tzatziki), and shrimp carpaccio—all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Among the hot meze, we tried the rib steak over the wood-fired grill, which, while cooked well, needed a bit more seasoning. However, the grilled Dorado fish was outstanding—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We rarely order dessert, but the chocolate mousse with cherries was a standout and an absolute must-try. Service at Doya is team-oriented, delightful, and impressively quick. The food comes out fast, making for a seamless dining experience without feeling rushed. Overall, Doya delivers a wonderful dining experience, with a well-executed menu, great service, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore high-quality Mediterranean flavors in a shareable format.More infoDOYAPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Wynwood•4.7
