A modern, glass-fronted Indian on the burgeoning strip between The Bedford pub and Balham High Road, Indian Room has found itself something of a haven for couples. It must be the serene whiteness (table linen, walls) and candlelight. Then there’s the health-conscious cooking using as little as oil as possible. Well worth trying are the handful of dishes unique to this popular local restaurant, a wonderful apricot chicken Kashmir among them. Chicken madras, and a super-hot chicken vindaloo are consistently the most-ordered of the ‘All Time Favourites.’

Bombay delight never disappoints with its fabulous food, friendly, attentive staff and lovely surroundings. I visit regularly and recommend to all my friends. They have created a vegan menu for January full of imaginative dishes. We tried the garlic, chilli mushrooms alongside our usual favourites and they were incredible. I'm hoping they might be added to the regular menu! Give this place a try, you'll keep coming back.

Seekh kebab roll, Fried Masala Fish, Samosa chart, Methil Aloo, Meat Karahi all delicious. Good selections for vegetarians as well. Staff were very helpful with menu queries. We went at 3:30 so wasn't very busy and had a very relaxed dining experience. The staff assisted with the birthday cake with kindness and care and willingness to make the birthday celebration a little extra special. Our table was next to the window which gave a great view of the outside. Inside was warm. Our second time here. Would definitely return and maybe try their mix grill. Many thanks to all the staff for a wonderful dining experience.
