Guests will enjoy culinary delights from final year apprentice chefs and cookery students and impeccable fine dining service provided by hospitality students.Lavish three course buffet lunches and dinners are also available throughout the year. Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.

I loved the lamb salad and the salmon was exquisite! The elderflower mocktail was perfect for a hot day. Thank you to the team for great food and excellent service. I will be back.

My wife and I had lunch there yesterday. The staff were courteous and helpful albeit still learning there craft. The meals although not large but for the price very good. I had the pa naeng chicken curry while my wife han the roasted barramundi, Both were excellent. The only downside was the vegetables were barely warm or I would have given it 5 stars. We followed up with the white chocolate pear desert and flourless lemon,coconut and almond cake, both were sublime. We will definitely be back next time we visit Melbourne.
