BOAT TOUR AND DINNERAvailable from Wednesday to Sunday for a dinner cruise that includes a 2- or 3-course meal. La Peniche is a restaurant located on the barge MV Riasc (La Peniche is French for barge) which is moored on the Grand Canal alongside Mespil Road between Baggot and Leeson Street bridges. We are open for dinner cruises from Wednesday to Sunday. The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer. We hope we do it well.

Bon restaurant un peu excentré mais avec une ambiance très cosy. Accueil impeccable et service de qualité. Plats très bons. Nous avons passé le "réveillon de 2024"
