Best Italian Restaurants in North Beach Haven

We love dining here! It's an LBI classic and one of the best restaurants on the island. The food is consistently delicious, service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy, warm, and comfortable. Victoria was our server. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly and seemed to have no problem handling a busy night with a smile. The timing was perfect. We never felt rushed nor ignored. My husband always gets their seafood carbonara, and it's delicious each time. Another of my friends got the filet mignon, and it was excellent as well. Bringing your own wine is also a great option and value. Go often and enjoy!

We decided on the price fixed menu, which at $59 was a true deal. Before you even order your dinner, you are gifted a piece of excellent Parmesan cheese, spicy and delicious bruschetta, amazingly, thin, sliced, and spicy zucchini, and many choices of bread. My husband is a bread guy and they let him have two pieces! I got the chicken Parm and couldn’t finish it. There was just too much food. My husband got the rigatoni with meat sauce, which is what he always gets and he loved it. We both had excellent salads for starters and I had the most delicious and light and airy cheesecake for dessert. My husband loved his chocolate cake dessert. The servers were efficient and very pleasant. there was an item on the bill that provided a space for you to tip your captain. We’ve eaten in many places all over the world and we have never seen that. We were a little bit stumped at how much to leave. We probably under tipped. Wish we had known better.

This way my first time at Carmines heard so much about it and was very impressed and food was amazing .

Everything was excellent. The service was very professional and friendly.I would recommend people to go there.

The music was a little loud initially but as the restaurant became more crowded the level dropped. They were playing rock n roll hits from the 60’s and 70’s instead of like Bocelli.
