Best Italian Restaurants in Glenelg

Service started off very slow at the beginning-- Waiter took over 20 minutes before they first approached our table -- restaurant was very busy for Valentine's Day. Service improved and was considerably better later in the evening. Food quality was good but my veal dish was nearly cold when it arrived while my compassion's meal was piping hot! Menu was limited to Valentine's Day specials -- definitely a bit of a disappointment. Overall a good experience but not up to the usual standards for this restaurant -- always a risk going out to dinner on Valentine's Day!! Quite honestly, my wife and I have had several far worse experiences than this eating out on February 14th!!!

Maggiano's has now become our go-to place for really great meals. We've been there 3 times and each time has been a great experience, especially if you are looking for excellent food, attentive and unobtrusive service, and a great ambiance.

I love the food, service and atmosphere. I was a bit concerned when they seated us at a table directly in front of the piano player/singer. The volume was low enough that it enhanced the ambiance. Well done.

Our server, Stefanie, was excellent. We had a wonderful time. The Mediterranean salad is very generous. Crispy brussel sprouts were a good starter. We also loved the eggplant parmesan.

The wait staff and management make you feel welcome and are attentive. The bread and seasoned olive oil is the best. The food is well prepared and flavorful. Great Italian comfort food!
