Best Italian Restaurants in LaSalle

Staff is fantastic!! And you’re gonna be surprised by the quality of food. It’s so good!! Only one small issue, avoid being near a window. Not so good isolation so you’ll be cold if it’s a cold night.

Last weekend, my teenage kids and I took a trip to Montreal and had the pleasure of dining at WG on Friday evening. We made a reservation just an hour in advance and were delighted to be seated at a lovely table that offered a great view of the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere. It was the first time for my kids at WG, and it was fascinating to hear their fresh perspectives on every aspect of the experience—the food, the service, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. To my relief, they were thoroughly impressed with everything. One of the things I appreciated was that the menu has remained almost unchanged for the past 18 years. This allowed me to guide them on what to order, sharing some of my long-time favorites. The food was nothing short of amazing, just as I remembered it from years ago. Each dish was fresh and flavorful, brimming with Mediterranean and Italian influences that made every bite memorable. The variety of options on the menu was impressive and catered to a range of tastes. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant felt timeless, beautifully complementing the delicious food. The old Italian taverna style, warm tones, and inviting layout created an enjoyable dining environment. As for the service, it truly stood out during our visit. While I'm sure all the staff members are exemplary, our waiter, Brendan, was particularly exceptional. He was not only friendly and professional but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He provided insightful recommendations regarding the ingredients and portion sizes, and he consistently checked in on us at just the right moments without being intrusive. Overall, it was a delightful experience that left a lasting impression on us all, and I can't wait to return to WG in the future.

Outstanding service, Thank you Gabriel!!! Drinks, food and the wine recommended were all awesome. The dishes are top quality. Had the pizza, oysters and Caesar salad. The desserts even look impressive. I've been lucky enough to go to this restaurant many times and I will continue to do so and bring customers, friends and family to this beautiful restaurant. The food was incredible. Service was perfect level of present but not overbearing. Got the Kale Caesar and a Margherita and it was the perfect amt of food for two people. Wine list was awesome too. Def recommend to anyone coming to MTL.

What a wonderful little gem of a restaurant! From the moment you arrive and throughout the meal you are attended to by happy , enthusiastic young staff. Though the menu is limited, everything we tried was utterly delicious. What can be so wonderful about spaghetti you may ask? Try the one at Nora Grey. Meltingly tender , delicious striped bass anyone? You are at the write place. A curated wine list is your pleasure? You’ll find it here! Bravo!!
