Food and wine was great. Service was great. Love the paintings and ambiance The fall special salad was very good. My Fluke was made well. Only regret was that we were too full for desert.More infoPlum Pt. BistroPrice: Moderate• American• North Kingstown•4.7
- JJohnNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe hadn't been to Trattoria Romana in quite a few years, and having had a wonderful meal last night, wonder why. We don't usually go out to dinner - preferring lunch instead - but were in the area and decided to try the restaurant again. The ambience is great - we were seated in the room away from the bar, with wood paneling. Service was excellent, and the menu larger than any other Italian restaurant we've been to in Rhode Island. We tried an appetizer that was different from any we've had before - cheese wrapped in prosciutto, then sauteed, accompanied by salad greens, artichokes, peppers, and olives. Delizioso! We both opted for a seafood main course (though the pasta dishes all looked wonderful) and enjoyed the Shrimp Alio Olio as well as the Shrimp and Scallops in a tomato, cognac, and cream sauce. My husband and I rarely eat the pasta, but we sopped up every last bit with the delicious sauces. Bread was served, which is rare these days. The wine list and cocktail menu were substantial and we both found drinks that we enjoyed. Our entire meal was outstanding, and we'll definitely be back!More infoTrattoria Romana In WakefieldPrice: Moderate• Italian• South Kingstown•4.8
- GGeorgeGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 11, 2024Everything was outstanding. I do not usually leave reviews but I think that this was worth while to let folks know. We were early for our reservation but they made an effort to accommodate us early. We were very lucky that they could do so. There is no area to actually wait for a table. They advise folks that they have limited space and that is true. The service and food was exceptional. Well worth dining here.More infoMamma Luisa Italian RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Newport•4.7
