Qu'est-ce qu'un Bettolino ? En Italie, on retrouve des Ristorante's, des Trattoria's, des Osteria's, des Pizzaria's et bien plus. Il s'agit d'établissements où l'on sert des repas, tous de nature différente les uns des autres. Avant la création de ces établissements, il y avait les Bettolino's. Imaginez-vous en l'an 1600, que vous êtes un voyageur errant de ville en ville, en Italie. Vous arrivez dans un petit village. Dans le village, il y a des maisons, des commerces et un Bettolino. Vous avez faim, donc vous entrez dans ce dernier. L'endroit est animé et rempli de gens, on peut entendre le bourdonnement des conversations et sentir l'odeur des mets fraîchement cuisinés. Le propriétaire s'approche de vous avec une grande coupe remplie de vin et une assiette de nourriture chaude.
Les propriétaires s'appliquent à reproduire cette même sensation auprès de leurs clients lorsqu'ils franchissent la porte de leur établissement. Aujourd'hui, les Bettolino's ont disparu en Italie, mais la petite entreprise familiale Bettolino, dans le Riviera Village, perpétue la tradition qui veut que l'on serve de la nourriture et des boissons délicieuses accompagnées d'un service chaleureux.
