Best Italian Restaurants in Villa Park

From sitting down to receiving the bill it was a wonderful experience. The peach bellini was refreshing, sweet and tasty. The bread they give with the giardinera was amazing. We ate and didn’t get full because the bread was so light and airy. The giradinera with the olive oil was amazing. So flavorful. The appetizer: beef carpaccio was delightful. It wasn’t heavy so it was the perfect appetizer. The rigatoni wasn’t spicy but it was flavorful. I added the chicken milanesa for protein and it was fried perfectly. They have two breasts if chicken on top of the rigatoni. The whitefish that my husband received was good. It was smaller than the one our neighboring table received, but besides that, it was a complete meal with yummy smashed potatoes and spinach. I enjoyed the olive oil cake, surprisingly. The description does not do the dessert justice. The chocolate budino wasn’t spicy VERY rich. Not to my liking, but it was decent. It seemed to be a flourless chocolate cake. The service was decent, despite being extremely busy. Overall, a nice way to spend a chilly evening in Oak Brook after winning at the Great Big Game Show.

Great experience! Celebrated a birthday and they met my special requests with a smile and extreme care. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me and the birthday boy! I would highly recommend this place for a great dinner and ambiance. Thank you, thank you for making the night perfect!

Love the pizza at Piccolo Buco! The crust is fluffy and chewy, with a tad bit of crunch. Tip: they don’t have ranch for pizza since it’s an Italian Restaraunt, but we get a side of the creamy Italian dressing and the fluffy crust tastes amazing when dunked. We love that this place also accepts our Wine Club membership to Cooper’s Hawk so we can always get a bottle of wine for the table.

First time finally making it here. Was going to get my go to breaded veal chop but server talked me into the dover sole special and I didn’t regret it. Grilled calamari app the shrimp/lobster ravioli and the ragu bolognese all delicious. Will definitely be back gotta get my veal chop .

Another fabulous experience! Been here numerous times and the food is always great. Service is perfect! Best calamari we’ve ever had and we’ve traveled extensively overseas to some of the best places and nothing beats Roberto’s!
