An unassuming gem! Wonderfully fresh sushi, creative dishes, and top notch service. We sat at the sushi bar and let Grace (our waitress) choose all of our courses. She made the experience a 10/10. From truffle and grapefruit ponzu sashimi dishes, to the shooters with uni, to the salmon filled cornets, the sushi was delicious. The tempura black snapper was also a table favorite! They also had great cocktails and a ton of sake and whiskey to try. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

My daughter and I had a very enjoyable dining experience at the sushi bar Friday night. The seafood taste, variety and quality were all excellent, with a decent number of higher end choices available. Service was top notch both behind the counter and on the floor. Our Sushi Chef was friendly and helpful making our selections, and the waiter was attentive throughout our dinner. I would highly recommend giving this new location of Shimogamo a try! NOTE: As some reviewers have observed, we did find service to be somewhat hit-or-miss when they first opened this location, which was a letdown if you were accustomed to dining at the original location. They appear to be past that, as it was a full house on both the tables and Sushi bar when we dined and service was excellent throughout the evening.

Dined here tonight with my Grama from out of town. Alex was our chef and he was literally amazing. Kudos to you Alex, what a great experience we had because of you. Had to wait an hour after our reservation time but everything was handled professionally. Thanks for a great Christmas meal experience, especially you Alex. Great job!

I am a seafood lover and thought I would give this place a try. Everything was amazing! We ordered the rockefeller oysters sea bass, and salmon. Everything was delicious. Great service, drinks were well made. Had zero complaints. Will definitely return.
