Our owner Jimmy started Mt Fuji Japanese Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse back in 2005 as an small sushi restaurant. Since then we've won 2 awards from The Courier Post Readers Choice for one of the Best Sushi and Japanese Cuisine in South Jersey. Fast forward to 2013 we opened our Hibachi Grill section and ever since then it's been the go-to place for people that wants to have fun and watch an performance at the same time. Our menu has three sections one for sushi bar items, the second one for Japanese Cuisine and the third one for the Hibachi Grill. With over 30 years of experience in Japanese Cuisine with his specialty in sushi, Jimmy strives on perfecting the art of sushi making and is always makes sure that the ingredients used are all up to standards before cooking. Loved everything about this place! Will be my go to place every time I’m in Philly now. I feel it is not as spacious but plenty of seating. It’s a very chill vibe in there. Happy hour lasted until 6pm on Friday night. My fave was the wagyu spring rolls with its sauce, had a hint of peanut butter in it. The kanarge (i know butchered the name) look like catfish bites but it’s chicken with the orange sauce it was so good. Came in a good size portion to share. Also ordered the east coast oysters for $2 each definitely worth it. Total was around $50 for two which is nice.

My experience here was incredible!!! Haris was our Omakase chef and he was the sweetest. He gave us a free shot of sake and we had the best time ever!!! The qualify of the fish was amazing. Will be back, MANY times in the future!
