Best Japanese Restaurants in South Indy

Due to tremendous amount of snow falling there were dry few customers while we were there. Er still enjoyed the full “show” during our food preparation. Enjoyable and very good food and service.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Daddy Jack's every time we go. The majority of the time we have had Cindy as our waitress, and I order whatever she recommends every single time. The food, drinks, and service never disappoint! We are thankful to have found this gem because although they have been around for a long time, we have only lived here for 5 years. I recommend it to everyone!

We had a really nice evening overall. Our waiter was fantastic; attentive and patient but not overbearing or intrusive. The food was excellent; I had the seafood risotto and my wife had a sushi roll special. We shared the crab cake appetizer. The crab cake was wonderful, loaded with crab, not full of filler like bread crumbs, and it wasn’t heavy at all. My risotto was perfectly cooked and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. My wife’s sushi was excellent in my opinion; she wasn’t crazy about it having pickled ginger in the roll, but as she said, she missed that in the description and wasn’t poor preparation. Our table was in the tented patio so it was a bit breezy and cold so that affected the ambiance score. Noise level wasn’t obtrusive at all and conversation was easy. Overall, a fantastic dinner…we’ll be back.

Wonderful place for a special event. Creative cocktails, good wine list and a seafood menu that goes on and on. Excellent service.

We had a great experience and plan to return. My husband really enjoyed the vegan options, and I ate lots of delicious sashimi - something for everyone!
