Best Korean Restaurants in West Oak Lane

This was really good. It had been on our list for years and we finally got in and regretted not going many years earlier. We will be back very soon. We had the bow buns and the Bibiinbap. Very good.

SALT was really a fun and lively experience, with great food and attentive service. Five of us went for a birthday dinner, and were seated at a table against a wall. I've seen others mention that the restaurant gets noisy, but we didn't have that experience and I'm thinking sitting near the wall helped. It was our first time at Korean barbecue and our server Julie was terrific - she explained everything, but wasn't intrusive. She also cooked everything perfectly. We had the basic beef combo, which is more food than the 5 of us could eat. I don't use a lot of salt usually, but she shared when to use which one, and the one salt in the sesame oil was delicious. The kimchi and radish dish were favorites. We had a 5:00 reservation, and soon almost every table was full, so definitely make a reservation.

A great variety of food on the menu. Eleanor, our waitress, was the right amount of attentive and let us enjoy talking. Had bibimap and split sushi. Both were delicious.

High quality Korean fare at reasonable prices. Nice array of free appetizers ranging from mild to hot. The spice hot level is a bit higher than some Korean restaurants. The bibimbap was good as were several of the noodle dishes. Overall a quite enjoyable experience.

Always a very nice experience. Neighborhood place with superior food, prep and service. Relatively small but comfy.
