Local, authentic, family, immigrant, and women owned Latin American restaurant and bar in Great Neck, right across the street from the Great Neck Long Island Railroad station. We specialize in Colombian and Latin fusion food including classics like our Plato Paisa and Bistec a Caballo, and fun remixes like our Roasted Salmon with Passion Fruit Sauce or Stuffed Chicken. We’d love to have you try our food! We also have large screen TVs for sports events with a full bar of delicious drinks, and a large back room that we use for private events.     Food was great, and restaurant week was good value. Especially liked the policy of kids 5 and under eat free, couldn’t go to a place like this otherwise. Will go back, but need a rest after so much meat!

    Pappa Gallo in Rockville Centre offers a vibrant dining experience that beautifully showcases authentic Peruvian cuisine. During my visit, I had the opportunity to try the Chicharrón and a Mixto Salad. The Chicharrón offered a delightful sweet sauce with a bit of tang. The accompanying mixed salad was fresh and provided a refreshing balance. The short ribs were so tender as well. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff ensuring that all guests felt welcomed and well-cared for. The restaurant’s décor is inviting, adorned with beautiful artwork that adds to its charm.  I can’t forget about the amazing woman singing and playing the guitar. She has a beautiful voice and the song selection was perfect. Overall, Pappa Gallo is a must-visit for those seeking a genuine taste of Peruvian cuisine in a lively and welcoming setting.
