Best Latin American Restaurants in San Jose

We had the most delicious enjoyable Christmas day dinner. Each taste was amazing. We loved the guacamole, the posole with its complex broth, the barbacoa lamb, the caramel banana cake, the bunelo dessert and the special treat of corn pancakes brought to our table. Even the tempura tofu was good. I liked that they didn't ask us to tell them our choices for the second course until we finished the first ones. The pace was very good. Such a nice dinner experience and the fixe prix way of determining it by the cost of the entree was fair and very reasonable compared to other restaurant offerings for fixe prix for Christmas day.

As soon as you step in you feel like you have stepped into a fun dining experience, this Mexican American steak House is the best in the Bay Area bringing the best quality cuts of meats. Tostadas Prime is your place to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries , or any special occasion. They make it fun and your lucky to get a reservation on a friday or saturday you will have a show of fire dancers to make the dining experience even more special. Unique art on the wall and don't get me started on the cocktails they have fun names and the taste to match ! I highly recommended and guarantee you will have an incredible experience.

Food is the reason to come here. Pricey but worth the tariff.

I didn’t realize that it’s actually within the Doubletree hotel if that’s the hotel at the Prune Yard. No one was there. According to two servers, they didn’t have our reservation or at least there wasn’t a manager to confirm. We were the only customers until later in the evening. They looked like hotel customers were coming in, sitting at the bar and the outside fire pit so we had the servers to ourselves. They were very personable, helpful & friendly. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I was with three other people. We had a really nice time and it was for my birthday last month, but getting together with friends to celebrate.
