- CChristenVIPSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoCadillac Margarita is a classic yum fest. We enjoyed guacamole, tacos and suiza enchiladas. The foods are a la cart. Our server Danica was patient with the elders in my family and friendly. She made sure we received all of our food and drinks. She is a sharp server. I hope to dine with her again.More infoPuesto Mission ValleyPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Mission Valley•4.6
- IIngridVIPNew Mexico •24 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had reservations for an outside table; it ended up being a rainy evening and they were able to offer us a table indoors. For drinks, we enjoyed the Tempranillo and the Oaxaca Rosito, which is a Negroni with Mezcal instead of gin; it was luscious and smoky. As appetizers, we enjoyed the chips with a smoky orange and hot green salsas and the Tetala Mole Flight. The latter is a large triangular patty filled with potatoes and cheese, artfully topped with their three moles. It was so fun to taste all of their delicious moles. Our entrees were the Burris Ramen, with braised short ribs and noodles in a delicious broth; and a carnitas taco and a mushroom & cauliflower taco. Both were wonderful, and I appreciated that the tacos were ala carte. We shared the Chocoflan for dessert; this is flan atop a thin chocolate cake layer, topped with raspberry mousse and freeze dried strawberries, with passion fruit caramel on the plate. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. This was a refreshing change from typical Sonoran and Tex-Mex restaurants.More infoTahona BarPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Old Town•4.5
- TTonyaSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024We had a work winter gathering and had a great time. The hosts were accommodating to reserve the lounge room for our party. It was spacious enough to hold a few table games. The host was very attentive, kind and patient. We all enjoyed ourselves very much!!!More infoCocina de BarrioPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Hillcrest•4.7
- GGeraldSan Diego •24 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024Maybe it’s because it was a Sunday but we waited about 20 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was about 25% full. Once seated, the service was good and four of the five dishes we ordered were very good and reasonably priced. Interesting food combinations but not the place to go to if you want a salad.More infoFlama LlamaPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Kearny Mesa•4.3
- JJohn PaulSan Diego •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Found this restaurant on OpenTable and was not disappointed. The ambiance is incredible and the food matches it perfectly. However, I think the service, at least our server in particular, was extremely helpful and that really made the whole experience that much better for us.More infoCamino RivieraPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• Little Italy•4.8
